New Year's Eve Season of Prayer and Song - 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Join us on New Year's Eve, Wednesday December 31, at 7:00 p.m. to bring in the New Year with prayer and song.  We will get together at the Ministry Resource Center.  Come expecting great things in the New Year.

The Next Step - January 6, 2009
Starting in 2009 we are offering The Next Step twice a month on Tuesdays at the Ministry Resource Center.  What is The Next Step?  It's an evening to take your spiritual growth to a new level.  At times we will be using the teaching from a Sunday morning fellowship as a springboard to get into the depth of God's Word.  At times we will consider a stand alone study on a topic necessary for spiritual growth, and at other times we will look at an entire book of the Bible.  The first series will parallel what we will start on Sunday December 28 - Freedom from Bondage.  Come expecting to see great things from God. Here are the upcoming dates and topics:

                                 January 6, 2009 - Where Did These Chains Come From?
                                 January 20, 2009 -  Strongholds, Control and Deliverance
                                 February 10, 2009 - Romans 6 & 7 - The Real You
                                 February 24, 2009 - Steps to Spiritual Deliverance

Getting to Know God Better -  2009
Discovering God's Word, our introductory class has been expanded and the name has been changed to Getting to Know God Better.  The title captures not only what the class aims to accomplish, but what our ministry is all about.

Getting to Know God Better is all about enjoying a closer relationship with God.  The class gives students an easy to understand overview of the things of God and allows them to explore for themselves the blessings and benefits of walking with God.  The class contains eight sessions and the first session is always open, so invite someone to come and see what God can do for them.  The next class will begin on January 8, 2009.
